Under 18: Need certified copy of birth certificate, both parents must be present with identification, or if you have a legal guardian they must be present with a both a court order and identification. If one or both parents are deceased, proper evidence of that must be provided.
Officiants: Any licensed minister of the gospel in regular communion with the Christian church or society of which he is a member may perform marriages. Marriages may also be performed by the pastor of any religious society according to the rules of that religious society. Ministers must provide a certificate of the marriage to the judge of probate within one month after the marriage.
Valid: License is valid for 30 days and may only be used within the state of Alabama.
